Principle

Our Cooling Tower is working on the principle of evaporative cooling. In this process the hot water comes directly into contact with ambient air and cooling is achieved mainly by small portion of water gets converted to vapor, thus caring away the latent heat of evaporation by which water gets cool down and air gets heated, saturated and also caring away some sensible heat from water.

Natural Draft Fan Less Technology

In this process, air current is induced by jet ejector nozzle using kinetic energy of return water, which is converted into kinetic energy of air. So air is induced inside from the top of the cooling tower.

Selection of Material

• Structure is made from heavy M.S. Angle/Tee/Channel sections and hot dipped galvanized or lined with FRP for corrosion resistance.


• Louvers are made from fiberglass-reinforced plastics, which ensure corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.


• Water Distribution Headers are made from "c" class galvanized pipe.


• Nozzles are made from nylon-6 to give good corrosion resistance.


• Nuts & Bolts are made from nylon-6 & M.S. Electroplated.


• Pay Back Period is 12-18 months compared to fan type cooling towers. Thus, replacement of present cooling tower is also economically viable
